St. Pat's looms.....

FEBRUARY

Thursday, 9th --- Fernando's, Price Chopper Plaza, Cobleskill ---7-10
                    Low-key restaurant gig.  Eat, drink, request tunes, applaud occasionally.
                                        This'll be Phil and me, with maybe a drop-in by one Roger Schaeffer (if we
                                        can't get two of them har har har).

Saturday, 11th --- Bat Shea's, Troy, NY, Ferry Street and Fourth (95 Ferry) 9 till 12
                                        New, burgeoning Irish bar and restaurant.  Food said to be terrific (sez them) 
                                        Music terrific (sez me).  Nice gang there.  Music appreciated.
                                        Paul Rice will be joining me on fiddle and Irish banjo.  Don't tell anybody I don't
                                        know what that is.

Saturday, 18th --- "Less Than A Month Till St. Pat's" at Carmody's,  8 PM
               Right in the middle of Bennington. Excellent food and drink.  Very nice place;
                                         pandemonius on celebration days; there is more peaceful restaurant seating
                                         outside the bar, with windows to watch it through.

Saturday, 25th --- Red Lion Inn, Stockbridge, Mass, 9 till 12
                     Rather cozy below-grade club, "The Lion's Den," good food, good staff, and the
                                         closest thing we'll find to a cabaret this side of Berlin, Ohio.  Been so long since
                                         we've played there I will, in fact, be able to tell all the same jokes.  Fellow walks
                                         into a bar with a parrot on his shoulder....

 

MARCH

 

Sunday, 11th --- PARADE DAY at Carmody's,  1 PM till 6 or so.  It is cheek-by-jowl in the bar,                                              but the restaurant seating is on the other side of the window wall, from where you may                                             gaze in at the melèe.   Lineup is Dennis, Andy, Paul.  Phil apparently has better things to do.

Friday, 16th --- Wolfert's Roost Country Club 
                     Just bragging.  'Course, you could get on yer tux and sneak in as a waiter.

Thursday, 17th --- St. Patrick's Day at Carmody's, 4 or earlier till 12
                                         Hang onto your shamrocks.  Dennis and Phil the whole marathon.  Interludes of
                                         piping by Merrick Hard.  Beer of all shades.  HUNDREDS OF POUNDS of (really good!)
                                         corned beef.  Revelry!

Friday, 23rd --- Red Lion Inn, Stockbridge, Mass, 9 PM till midnight
                  Dennis, Phil, Andy.  Who knows who else or not?  See blurb above.

                    Technically, Dennis booked as a single, so a rare event.  But invitations are open.
